Recording

Progettazione Applicazione La registrazione con il metodo ITAKA è veloce, precisa e semplice. Recording with the ITAKA Method is fast, precise, and simple. The entire process is completed with a single tool in 15-20 minutes, including fork blocking and optional 3D facial scanning using the ITASKAN FACE software module.

Design

The patient’s mandibular tracings are quickly processed and analyzed with CAD software, allowing the clinician to visualize the recorded movements within minutes and perform an initial diagnosis. The prosthetic design, created by the dental lab, incorporates the patient’s movements, anticipating contacts and pre-contacts to ensure a pre-functionalized prosthesis before insertion into the oral cavity.

Application

Once verified with CAD or the Arthur articulator, the prosthetic device is applied to the patient with minimal or no corrective adjustments, thanks to the precision of the recorded movements. The ITAKA Method applies to various solutions, such as bite splints, Rebalance, fixed and removable prostheses, and implant-supported restorations, delivering immediate comfort and functionality for the patient

Results and Benefits

ITAKA’s advanced technologies, combined with its exclusive protocols, provide comprehensive support to dentists and dental technicians, enhancing treatment quality. ITAKA doesn’t just offer innovative technologies but also introduces new protocols and clinical approaches. REBALANCE is one such solution! A removable device that tests the patient’s new vertical dimension, pre-functionalized with free movements, completely non-invasive and reversible.

Since 2019, ITAKA has utilized the 4D virtual patient to determine the vertical dimension digitally, without the need for wax, silicone, or induced maneuvers. Recording specific movements with Cyclops allows us to identify the optimal point for setting the D.V.D. (Digital Vertical Dimension), a core component of the ITAKA Method.
